A CBK-suit is simply the perfect suit for dog shows.
My name is Gitte Morell; I have bred Samoyeds in Kennel Cabaka since the early 1990s and have had great success in the show ring both nationally and internationally ever since. I was one of the first in Europe to start using show suits with colours, bling, and WOW factor.

At the beginning of my show career, handlers often wore dark suits, and everyone looked the same. During some trips to the USA, I noticed that the handler wasn’t just a neutral part just holding the leash but also contributed significantly to the dog’s performance in the ring. For many years, we show enthusiasts have been able to buy great suits in the USA, but fashion there has changed, and they have also become more grey and boring, like in Europe. I thought it was a shame that in recent years it has been difficult to find suits with a WOW factor without having to get a "custom-made suit." This was the starting point for CBK suits in 2023.

The Personal Touch

My goal was, and still is, to create beautiful and functional suits with a WOW factor. I also want originality, and for my designs to be unique, so they are made in small collections. It turned out that finding the right partner to fulfil these wishes wasn't easy. It took time, sweat, and tears to reach the goal. But with my new partner, I feel I’ve found the right company.

I’m personally involved in all processes, from design and selection of fabrics to visiting button factories that can make custom-made buttons. Nothing is random - everything is carefully selected and designed by me.

I have created each set with a passion for details, ensuring that your experience is both stylish and practical. The unique design is both elegant and functional, offering good mobility, water-resistant pockets, and an elegant design.
With a CBK-suit, you will stand out from the crowd in style. Therefore, CBK-suits are not mass-produced. Each model is produced once and is available as long as stock lasts.

Freedom to Move

A key factor for me is the ability to move freely. It’s important that you, as a dog handler, can move freely, bend, or kneel by your dog without worrying about how your clothes fit. That’s been taken care of with a CBK-suit.
All fabrics, including the lining, contain elastane, which gives you, as a dog handler, optimal freedom of movement and makes it easy to handle your dog during the show.
The jacket is specially designed with good space and elasticity, and the skirt is designed with a practical slit.
CBK-suits are ideal for both walking and running, allowing you to move freely and effortlessly.

Water-resistant Pockets

In the show ring, it’s often useful to bring some extra special treats. These are often quite greasy, and in a normal blazer, they would leave grease stains. I’ve thought about this in the design of CBK-suits, where all jackets have two discreet pockets made of water-resistant material. This makes them perfect for storing treats, even the greasiest ones.
With a CBK-suit jacket, you can easily grab your dog’s treats and put them back in the pocket, optimizing your flow in the ring.

Sizes

CBK-suits are available in a wide range of sizes.
It’s also important to me that all models follow the same size chart. Regardless of the model, you will wear the same size. There may be slight variations in how close-fitting each suit is, but if you wear a size 8, you should always choose a size 8.
When the sizes are consistent, it’s easy for you to order a new set online.
I want everyone to have the opportunity to wear CBK-suits, so almost all models are available in sizes 2–20. Additionally, all sizes come in both petite and regular, so no matter your size or height, most people can find a suit in a size that fits. Petit is a little shorter in both the jacket and the skirt.

Development and Design

CBK-suits are constantly evolving. I take great pride in ensuring that all materials are of the highest quality. All fabric types, colours, and buttons are carefully selected to make each set truly unique. It’s important to me that you, as a dog handler, stand out from the crowd. That’s why I only make small collections. Generally, designs are not re-ordered, but new beautiful models are continuously introduced.
