Where does the owner of Ashley Craig get this knowledge from??
The owner, Ruthi Ashley Stern, was born into the hair industry, her family has been producing hair products ever since she could walk - however, it was for people!!
When she got her first dog, she was shocked to see how many harmful things were used to produce fur care products for dogs. She already had the company Greyhound, which makes unique combs, brushes, etc., so she already had a foot in the dog industry, but making delicious combs, which are now world famous for making shampoo, was a long process, also because human and dog hair are not the same! That's why she experimented a bit back and forth before she thought she had a healthy and delicious dog shampoo. Her first shampoo was called Panagenics, she started out with only having one type of shampoo for all breeds. After some time, however, she had to admit that there was more difference in the dog's fur than in human hair, so she researched further and developed Show Salon Spa, which is today the one used on most breeds. Panagenics also got a new name for Essentials, which is used for all terrier breeds and dogs with oily fur such as Newfoundland, Labrador, Shiba, etc. Something completely unique about Essentials shampoo is that you can wash a terrier and trim it right after, without the skin being damaged and the hairs not wanting to fall out.
Ashley Craig Products
Ashley Craig Products consists of only two shampoo series; Show Salon Spa & Essentials, the two can do EVERYTHING for all breeds. One of Ashley Craig's favorite products is WHITEN, it is used in all coat colors, it clears the colors: black, red and white, all get extra depth, reds become deeper red, black becomes more intense and removes the brown tints that black dogs often get, and white dogs get a beautiful, natural white color that does not glow purple or bluish in the sun, it is definitely one of the show people's favorite products. GroomeUs' favorite product is the relatively new WOW EXTREME, it helps to get rid of filter and makes it easier to get through the double coated dogs.
Among show people, the WOW series is loved for its natural styling, and judges love that they don't have to use Kleenex to dry their hands after handling dogs that have been washed in Ashley Craig.
